What does "Cult of Not-Doing" mean?

Bertrand Russell [1872-1970], a special hero of mine, wrote a short story in 1954 (four years after his Nobel Prize for Literature) called The Metaphysician's Nightmare. The phrase occurs in that story.

What in the world is that logo?

Glad you asked. It is a 3-D sculpture that I made with two other people in the mid-1990s, one of whom doesn't deserve credit and the other being Xochitl Mauricio. It's made of a wood box, acrylic paint, an old septum piercing, dried roses, bullet casings, screw-in fuses, a Styrofoam wig head, wooden beads, an old beaded broach, a heated O-ring, long wood nails, polyester roses, metal eyelets, and rhinestone earrings. The sculpture was gifted to Ironbite and currently resides in his office in northern California. The logo version was color enhanced in PhotoShop by Richard White (R.I.P., Friend).

What is the font called that you use in your logo?

That's Zillah Modern Upper Regular, ©2002 Graham Meade.

What are your store policies?

Please see policies and privacy.

Are you certified Made in Alaska?

Why, yes, I am. How kind of you to ask. Permit 6260.

Are you a member of the International Internet Leathercrafters' Guild?

But of course. It's only the world's largest leather guild 'n' stuff.

Do you have a mailing list?

Does an e-mailing list count? If so, yes, I do.

How do I take care of leather?

Leather will last much longer if properly cleaned and conditioned. I like Leather Amore by Bee Natural Leathercare (made in the U.S.A. yay!). It makes scratched, lackluster leather deep and shiny and beautiful again — cleans, conditions, softens, provides soil resistance, retards waterspotting, and buffs.
